Emotional Rescue, as awhole, has very strick adoption policies to prevent placement failures. They as a team network with other agencies to assure safe transport and vet care that is gold standard.
55Amazing work, critical in the value chain addressing reservation animal control and supporting tough cases that otherwise would not have a fighting chance due to medical needs. The work that Emotional Rescue does to support these animals while building social awareness and support is transformational for Animal Welfare

55We rescued a pup from warrior rescue and she is the best dog ever! Part of the family for sure!
55I've volunteered at Warrior Dog several times. They have an excellent fenced-in area for the dogs in their care to run and play and get to meet potential fur-ever families. They foster small puppies to large, adult dogs. They rely mostly on volunteers for their services, but they do have a dedicated paid staff to fill in roles when there aren't enough volunteers available for something.

Warrior Dog rescue is a non-profit organization based in Savage, MN that is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding adoptive homes for dogs that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. We are celebrating our 6th year in rescue and have saved over 3,400 dogs to date. When we reflect on that number we think that each one of those dogs had a foster hero that YES to saving them! We think about all the visits to the vet, the training, the full food bowls, walks, belly rubs, and all the healing that was given to each of them through the love and safety we were able to provide. Knowing that we were able to help them heal and be ready to love their forever family is a blessing beyond compare. Our storybook is filled with all the Warrior Dogs who have come into our lives and forever imprinted on our hearts. The Warrior Dog family continues to save these sweet souls because they all deserve to the know the gift of love and safety. There is still work to be done and by the grace and selflessness of our volunteer and foster teams, along with our generous donors we will continue. There are so many pups even as you read this that are alone and sick, abandoned in kill shelters and on roadsides, living a life filled with fear and abuse. We are steadfast in our commitment to continue to make a difference, one dog at a time.

Since 1992, the Winona Area Humane Society (WAHS) has been dedicated to improving the lives of our community’s companion animals by providing humane care to adoptable shelter dogs and cats, and offering public services to pet owners in need of support. Our no-kill animal shelter does not receive municipal or federal funding to carry out our mission. 55Northern Lakes Rescue is RELENTLESS in their quest to save and give AMAZING lives to dogs. Their support of their foster parents is top notch and I will be forever grateful for being able to adopt my fur baby from them!!
55In April 2021 I suddenly and unexpectedly had to say a final goodbye to my dog. I was still working from home due to COVID which made the loss almost unbearable. I began looking for another dog and came across Harper (aka Billie Rocks from the Magnificent Seven litter) at Northern Lakes Rescue. Due to COVID protocols, I spoke to the foster for Harper on the phone and did a video chat home visit. It was decided that Harper would be a good fit. She was almost 5 months old. She had been brought to MN from Texas, adopted, and returned to a foster due to the new owners unforeseen medical issues. I took a leap of faith and arrangements were made for her pickup. The day came and it happened to be the same day I was to pick up my previous dogs ashes. What a bitter sweet day. I picked up his ashes in the afternoon and met and brought Harper home that evening. Harper was so scared of everything and I was suffering from a broken heart. We immediately set up training classes so we could bond. Fast forward three years and she is a happy, outgoing little lady and my heart has been healed. I am so thankful to everyone involved along the way from Texas to Minnesota who were instrumental in bringing us together. I have met many others on our outings about town who also adopted through Northern Lakes Rescue. So many happy, successful adoption stories have been shared among us all.

Our Vision is to be a voice for those who are voiceless. We hear them with our hearts and give them a voice. Looking into the eyes of a rescued animal will speak volumes; watching those eyes light up will have an everlasting impact on you and the rescued animals. We aren’t a typical rescue as we don’t take in dogs and put them in kennels until they’re adopted. All dogs we rescue are placed in loving foster homes that teach them to be the best dog they can be. Our journey doesn’t end with adoption, either. We are here for you to support you in integrating your new member into your home, cheer new triumphs, and help with struggles. You don’t adopt a dog from us. You adopt a family.

55RPAW takes on the most difficult cases that other rescues will often not even consider. Every animal gets a chance to live it’s best life after they are physically and mentally treated for whatever ails them. I am proud to support this wonderful organization.
55Rescued Pets Are Wonderful has been in Minnesota since 2004. As it evolved, it became a "medical" rescue for dogs that other rescues could not afford to take in. The rescue coordinates its efforts to save dogs not only from euthanasia, but medical conditions that should not alter their life span. They have worked extensively with many medical specialists in this effort and have found innovative ways to treat the dogs in their care including using fish skin to heal a large area that needed grafting. This rescue is a vital element to the total rescue effort in Minnesota and needs all the support it can get since adoption fees for the animals it rescues don't come close to the cost to heal and rehabilitate them. Please support this rescue!

Rescued Pets Are Wonderful is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue organization serving the Twin Cities metro area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats left homeless for whatever reason – focusing on the ones with major medical issues or of senior age. These are the ones that are usually overlooked because they are not “highly adoptable.” They are also the ones that cost the most to the organizations. We believe they are the most in need of help!

Thousand Oaks, California has been a safe haven for Sniffspot host, Jen, since childhood. Having grown up in busy Santa Barbara, Jen, an introvert from an early age, would seek out solitude and serenity away from tourists attractions and droves of people visiting from elsewhere. “My grandparents own 60 acres about a 30 minute drive from here, and I grew up spending every summer and every holiday visiting them on the ranch,” Jen explained. “In Santa Barbara, we wouldn't go to the beach on the weekend because that's where everybody was, so you'd find places off the beaten path where the tourists weren't. For me, the ranch was just my happy place.”

Dalis To The Rescue

At our rescue, we are not only dedicated to matching our dogs with the perfect home, we are also dedicated to educating our community about the benefits of spaying and neutering as Dalis herself raised the funds to build a surgical room at our rescue where we host low cost spay and neuter clinics for the public. We are not exclusive to one area or county, in fact many people use our services from all over the state of Michigan and even some out of state including Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana. Dalis’ heart belongs to the misunderstood, the old, and the disabled. She always says that her goal is to rescue, but that her dream is that one day she won’t have to.
