55we had a great time playing here! there's enough space for the pups to run, varied surfaces for them to roll and sniff and the fencing all seemed secure and in a nice quiet neighborhood so we weren't bothered by other dogs walking by or in neighboring yards. The only thing to watch out for was there were a few misc kids' toys etc lying around so if your pup is inclined to chew/get into things, you might need to keep a close eye.Sergey K.

55Boomer loved this spot! It was large with lots of space to run around and sniff. The multiple levels made it more interesting for her to explore. The fencing is good and felt very safe for her around. The only thing was that there were some random stuff like old containers lying around, which curious dogs could find edible...
otherwise great spot!Sergey K.

55Bradley (~15 pounds) had a great time at this spot! It was a great size, and lot's of space for us to play fetch. Plenty of places to park. The multiple levels and variety of surfaces are a nice touch. I found no gaps where my little dog could slip through (they covered the holes they found with cinder blocks), I felt safe letting him off leash as I didn't think he would get out. The only con is that if you have a curious dog or a dog who likes to eat things, there are lots of things lying around, old containers, some kind of sprayer, etc. That kept me on my toes trying to keep him from messing with them (and thus was a little worried letting him roam).
Overall, a great spot and would definitely go back!!!!Sergey K.

55Awesome yard with really nice people. It's rare to find a yard this large in Seattle, and the two levels made it even more fun. Highly recommended!Sergey K.

55A nice small yard with grass and lots of toys! The fence is nice and tall and good at keeping curious dogs in the yard. The house had a nice sign saying where to enter and they even left a water bowl out for us!Sergey K.

55Maisie thoroughly enjoyed her first SniffSpot here today. It was as-described (tall, fully secured fence, doggy agility tunnel) and quiet. She had room to run, sniff around, and lay in the grass under the shade of a nice tree. I brought water, but the host had a full bowl waiting, which Maizie appreciated. We have a small yard, but no grass and tons of construction noise 20 feet away, so this SniffSpot was a perfect spot to have fun and relax. We definitely want to come back.Sergey K.

55"This was our first experience with SniffSpot, and I'm honestly blown away. I'm so grateful that the owners are willing to share such a beautiful yard!! My dog's always excited about new places, but when we got into the yard and I took her leash off, she was at a record-level of happiness! We such wonderful play and bonding time today, and it was such a fun experience to finally introduce her to playing fetch :) The owners were super friendly and welcoming! They're all set up with a SniffSpot welcome sign, a clean water bowl, and poop bag disposal. I don't know who was happier with this experience, me or my dog :) We both can't wait to go back!!
As a general note for visiting any yard: you may need to bring some bug spray! Since we're not used to playing outside, I forgot mosquitoes are out this time of year."Sergey K.

55Had a wonderful first sniffspot experience here. Large yard with lots to sniff. Even with the above ground pool, there was plenty of space for my dog to run. I loved that there was a sign by the gate signifying the entrance for the sniffspot and was also appreciative of the water bowl left out for dogs. Would love to come again!Sergey K.

55A wonderful spot! Yard is surprisingly large and my two big dogs sure enjoyed fetch, wrestling, and just sniffing around. If your dog barks at/reacts to people/dogs through fences this might not be the best place for you - but it was absolutely perfect for us and we all highly recommend it!Sergey K.

55Perfect backyard especially for Ballard! Lots of space for your dog to run around with complete privacy. My dog is super reactive and it’s pretty amazing to have a place where she can run around without me worrying for a second.Sergey K.

FAQ about our Seattle dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 86% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Seattle area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 68 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 38 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby.
